Standard Programs

Learn the language in a meaningful, personalized and communicative context, using authentic materials such as videos, songs, magazines and newspapers, which complement the textbook.

Program

The Standard Program consists of three levels: Portuguese 1, 2 and 3. Classes meet from Monday through Thursday, for two hours a day, in a total of 36 hours per level.

General objectives

Understand written and oral portuguese, mainly the Rio de Janeiro variant, through communicative activities and authentic material.

Maintain conversations about topics of everyday life in the past, present, and future.

Discuss topics about Brazil such as music, sports, History, Geography and current issues aiming at more effective communication, and closer contact with Brazilian culture.
